Heat Pump tumble dryers are super-efficient, but to save the most energy, programmes may take a little longer to dry your clothes than on standard dryers. It’s important not to overload the drum either, so they can perform at their best.

Conquer that mountain of laundry with this Haier tumble dryer. Because it uses heat pump tech, you’ll be saving energy and some precious pennies too. It can even help loosen wrinkles with its Ultra Reverse Drum that changes direction every 4 minutes, while the Flexy Air function lets you choose the intensity of the airflow – handy if you need clothes ready in a hurry. That means there’s no need to spend ages trying to get a stubborn crease out of your fave shirt. Don’t want to get off the couch? You can control it from your smartphone through the hOn app, so hit play on that movie and let the machine do the rest.
