To say this fridge freezer is amazing is an understatement!! I have a family of 5 and my kids (and I if I'm being honest) eat a lot. I filled the fridge with our 'normal' shop the day after it was installed, and it was still half empty, whereas in my old fridge we were playing Tetris all the time and food was getting wasted because we couldn't see it. The backlight on the fridge is brilliant, starts off dim then brightens up, as are the lights for the freezer drawers. The bottom drawer has a top drawer within the drawer, perfect for storing ice creams in! Milk and juice cartons fit perfectly in the door, I like the fact you can put them side in so to speak, making more room. We also have a water filter jug which fits perfectly in the other door. Sauces fit well in the shelves above the milk so not scrambling into the back to find them. Ice maker? GAME CHANGER! We used to buy ice all the time, now it is made automatically, and the scoop is a cute touch. Please be aware that this fridge is VERY big, and the back gate had to come off for it to fit through. I have never spent this much on an appliance before, but believe me, it is worth every penny.

Delighted with this fridge/freezer. A replacement for a seemingly similar model but it is supremely better in small yet not insignificant ways. I’ve discovered it is possible to love an appliance for having… pull out freezer drawers which is easy to access. We fairly recently had the kitchen designed and installed and knew the benefits of drawers not cupboard doors. Simple and so much better especially when you consider a storing a bag of frozen peas and accessing from above. The ice compartment is superb and we use ice everyday now because it is so easy, my husband particularly likes the scoop! Who knew this would be a daily joy filled moment?! The fridge shelf and drawers are great too. Again an improvement on our previous American Fridge/Freezer which I should note was a different manufacture. Last but not least the outside is stunning and is better than a stainless steel/silver exterior - easy to wipe down finger prints and keep the doors looking pristine. Note, we have this appliance as freestanding and it happens to perfectly match our graphite range style oven. I’m yet to find something I am not impressed with. It gets 6/5 stars if that is an option with ao.com!

We bought this to replace an American Fridge Freezer which was starting to make weird noises everyday. It was at least 10 years old so we expected it to go kaput any day. Plus the design of it drove me mad as the freezer part had tiny little shelves and everything would fall out. I did procrastinate over whether to buy this new fridge freezer because it was quite expensive and also we weren't sure it would fit through our porch door (70cm width). But the AO delivery guys were superb and removed the doors on the FF to get it through. Absolute pros. They were polite, efficient and left everything tidy afterwards. Truly outstanding workers as they had another 22 deliveries to do after ours but they didn't rush the job. Anyway, back to the FF. It's an absolute dream! The freezer draws are massive and I love the shallow tray above the bottom drawer as it's perfect for my batch cooking - I use a silicone mini loaf tray to portion up meals and this keeps it nice and flat whilst the food freezes and then I can bag it up. I can finally find everything I need at a glance, without having to pull all the food out as with my old FF. The soft lighting is a really nice feature and we've never had an ice cube maker before so that is a useful thing to have. Hopefully this FF will last us 10 years and if it does then the cost per day is very reasonable for such a great product. Don't procrastinate like me. Hit the buy button and you won't regret it.
