The Neff was fitted by ao as a replacement for my previous Neff which ceased working after 10 years, which is quite a good result. Although the replacement was expensive surprisingly it was slightly less expensive than the unit it replaced> The new unit is an improvement on its predecessor, the LEDs, No Frost, and fewer decibels I highly recommend. I also like the larger vegetable container. Bottle storage in the door is smaller which I don't like but of course, space in any fridge is limited and everything is a matter of choice. You can't have everything and I am happy with those choices. Finally, I would have liked to have purchased a more economical unit but I purchased the best available.

This was replacing an older version Neff fridge freezer, so fitting it was no problem as it was very similar to the old one. However, had we not been familiar with the installation arrangements, it might have been a different story, because the Neff installation instructions were somewhat confusing. We partly agree with some of the previous comments regarding the fridge storage; the old model had an extra shelf and the bottle shelf inside the door was conveniently at the bottom, whereas the bottle shelf is now positioned higher up, which makes it slightly less easy to use. On the plus side, the larger salad/veg drawer at the bottom is very useful and does compensate for the other changes. The freezer is fine; 4 drawers - very useful. Overall, very happy with it.

I concur with the review by A. Forbes on 11 July 2024 - the fridge is poorly designed. It has one large FreshSafe drawer at the bottom that comes out right against the door meaning there is no bottom shelf on the door where you would normally keep milk & other bottles. Also it only has the option of 3 shelves when 4 would be better. I would have preferred drawers at the bottom set back from the door to allow for the shelf on the door. The freezer is fine with 4 spacious drawers. I purchased knowing the above. The fridge design seems poorly thought through as functionally it works fine.

It works perfectly

Well designed, with enough space in the fridge itself. The big box for veg is very handy but this does mean the door shelf for bottles etc is higher than in the previous model. The four drawers in the freezer is ample for our needs.
