Purchased to replace an old integrated Neff fridge/freezer. Improved layout and more spacious than the old model. The door space has lessened to enable more shelf space but less room for bottles etc. on door shelves.

This was a replacement for the previous model which packed up after 13 years loyal service. When it first arrived, I was disappointed in the shelving/drawer set up, as there was one less shelf, a single ginormous drawer and less space in the door than our previous one, and I thought wouldn't work. But it actually suits our needs really well, you can stand things up in it and pile them up so it feels like a more efficient use of the space.

My old integrated neff fridge/freezer lost its freezing power after 15 years of constant use so this was the replacement model. There are a few improvements such as solid floor drawers in the freezer so that broken packets of peas don’t tumble down into the drawers below and the LED lights in the fridge. However there are two main disadvantages of the fridge. My old one had 2 salad drawers. This one has one large drawer which means I can’t sort different veg. And everything gets packed in on top of each other. The other annoyance is the lack of shelves in the fridge door. My old one had several. This one has 2 which is not enough to store my small jars of condiments - mustard, mint sauce etc which means the storage capacity is much lower. So not impressed but this was the only integrated model I could buy as it had normal hinges and not sliding ones as with most models nowadays.

Very well made unit which you will notice straight away by the strength of the door hinges. I fitted this myself and the features to secure the fridge into the cabinet work well but need some studying before you start. The fridge could maybe do with a better design of the door pockets and there are only 2 shelves which are quite high up so may not be useful to those not so tall.

The fridge freezer is like the last one I had and I would probably get another Neff if needed.
