Baking day gets a lot easier with this Bosch Serie 6 built-in double oven. 3D Hotair pushes heat right through the 71-litre main oven, so trays of biscuits on three shelves brown at the same rate, and a lasagne on one level won't pass its flavour on to muffins on another. The 34-litre second oven takes care of garlic bread or roast potatoes while the bigger cavity gets on with the joint.

Both cavities run from 50 to 275°C with rotary controls that pop out flush with the front, so there are no knobs to catch crumbs. The rear wall of the lower oven carries a coating of microfine ceramic spheres that breaks down grease splashes as you roast, which means less scrubbing once the plates are cleared. Handy extras include a digital timer on the LCD display, a halogen interior light, and a door cooling fan.
