Keeping watch over a bubbling pan gets old fast, so this AEG 7000 induction hob takes that job off your hands. SenseBoil® picks up the vibrations of a pan coming to the boil and drops the heat back to a steady simmer before anything spills over, so the rice can look after itself while you chop the greens. Touch controls sit along the front edge and step through 9 power levels, and the frameless glass-ceramic top finishes flush against the worktop. It measures 78cm across, which leaves room to work with four pans on the go. Nice.

To get the most out of this hob, please check compatibility before buying. Connecting hob and hood technology only works with compatible appliances from the same manufacturer.
