Worth buying and we can always expect lyour clothes to taken good care of

My previous AEG dryer was a model from 2014. It probably could have been repairable (the refrigerant quit turning on). When I was choosing a new dryer, I did consider other brands, however I whittled back to AEG and AO having factored price and features. Out of all things to be impressed with, it's the fluff filter assembly. It's a whole improvement to the previous assembly. The double-filter device rests on a rubber seal, which ensures fluff does not go anywhere near the refrigerant fins — and I'm one who vacuums after every use. Obviously, I cannot say if this is a unique design because I cannot see how other brands do this, but from old AEG to new, there is a positive difference. Clothes aren't hot after the cycle, usually the case after two or three uses in one day.

Whilst pricey this purchase was justified based on the savings over time compared to a condenser tumble dryer we had previously that stopped working. It definitely doesn’t dry clothes as quick but it runs quietly. It heats the clothes rather than the room and less need on the extractor fan. The light is nice and see through door is great. The unit door stuck out further than our last dryer. It weighs the clothes and tells you how long the run will be but only after you’ve started the dry, takes a few minutes which can be annoying if you’re time sensitive and need something dried quickly.

Took delivery just a few weeks ago and already can''t believe how quiet the dryer is and how energy efficient it is over the last dryer we had. Seems easy enough to use and dry''s the cloths great without shrinking them, although does take a little longer than a condenser to dry cloths. Understand from reading up on the different types of dryers that that''s just how heat pump dryers operate. Certainly doesn''t take that to much longer though. Pros - Looks great - very quiet - low cost to run - easy to fit (just plug in) - plenty of features with to many to mention or even use. Easy to clean and empty the water container. Good 5 years guarantee. Cons - Just the price but certainly worth it if you can afford the initial outlay. If you use the online energy saver tool on AEG site doesn''t really cost you any more than a Condenser dry at £200 - £300 over 5 year period.
