Keep the air clear above a central hob with this Hotpoint island cooker hood, which pulls away up to 735m³/h of steam and grease. Three speeds let you dial it down while pasta boils, then wind it up when you're searing lamb chops, and the push buttons are easy to hit mid-cook. Two LED bulbs rated 5 Watts each light the pans evenly, so you can see exactly how things are browning. The three aluminium grease filters lift out and go straight in the dishwasher, so there's nothing to buy and replace, and the charcoal odour filter means you can run it on recirculation where ducting isn't an option. The 1.5-metre cable gives you a bit of slack when you're lining it up with a socket.
