Getting a smart TV up and running shouldn't feel like paperwork, and that's the thinking behind this Veltech Roku TV. The home screen lays out live channels, apps, and inputs as simple tiles, so nothing is hidden away in menus. Freely is built in, streaming live and on-demand BBC iPlayer, ITVX, Channel 4 and Channel 5 over your Wi-Fi, so you don't need an aerial, a dish or a subscription. Pop it in a spare bedroom with just a power socket and you're watching in minutes. HDR10 widens the gap between the brightest and darkest parts of a scene, so a rainy night-time drama keeps its detail, while Dolby Audio gives you clear, room-filling sound. Ask Alexa to change channel, or search by voice through the free Roku app when the remote feels fiddly.
