My previous monitor was a 1080p panel with no bells and whistles. I wanted a display that had better than 120hz display, good G2G response time, was greater than 1080p and HDR. This panel appears to have it all, but it doesn't. The pixel density is superb, everything is crystal clear but the HDR is woeful. I've turned it off because aside from making the screen too dark, it doesn't look HDR and you can't alter any of the other settings if it's on. The instructions (only available on the Asus webpage) do not tell you this. The screen is very smooth when playing games though and even my RTX 3060 looks good at 4k (with DLSS on). Setting it up wasn't easy and the only reliable way to get it to work was with the (supplied) DisplayPort cable and not the HDMI I was previously using, also the power lead doesn't seem to want to go in properly. Summary. Good fast screen. Bad HDR and some setup issues.
