It works well as a kettle, particularly the wide and open spout, which allows it to be filled through easily, instead having to remove the lid. It is fairly noisy, but not outstandingly and only really when boiling.

Stylish kettle, which works well, boils fast and has good measuring guide on the side. Bought as a replacement for a Kenwood kettle, which I'd had for years. Only observations I'd make are that the handle is quite thick, compared with my old kettle, and the kettle itself feels quite heavy when filled. Wouldn't recommend for anyone with arm/hand mobility issues but very happy with its performance.
