With Home Connect, you can link your fridge freezer up to your wifi in no time. This means you can quickly access the internal cameras from your smartphone or tablet while you’re out, so you can easily check if you need milk while you’re out shopping. No more guesswork required!
With LG InstaView™, just knock twice on the glass panel to light up your fridge and see what’s inside. Not only can you quickly check what you’re low on, but you won’t lose any cold air from inside the fridge at the same time, helping your food stay fresh for longer.
Siemen’s intuitive Home Connect app means that you don’t need to be home in order to keep tabs on your food. You can even set push notifications to your smartphone – handy for letting you know the fridge door was left ajar in the morning rush! Thanks to its two internal camera set up, you’ll also know exactly what you need to pick up on the way home.
Just like most ‘smart’ things, a smart fridge freezer can be connected to the Internet through your Wi-Fi connection to give you access to a whole range of exciting additional features.
Different models will have different features and apps available. Features include things like, recipe apps, voice assistant controls, and the ability to send messages to smartphones. Some even have internal cameras that’ll link to your phone, so you can see inside the fridge while you’re out.
Your Smart fridge freezer will connect to your phone in a similar way as any other device. You may need to download an app - like Samsung Smart Home or LG SmartThinQ® - for your specific model. After this, you’ll need to add your device to the fridge freezer, using the touchscreen display. This process will be slightly different for each model, so check your instruction manual for details. Top tip: you’ll need your Wi-Fi username and password to hand.
