Just like most ‘smart’ things, a smart fridge freezer can be connected to the Internet through your Wi-Fi connection to give you access to a whole range of exciting additional features.
Different models will have different features and apps available. Features include things like, recipe apps, voice assistant controls, and the ability to send messages to smartphones. Some even have internal cameras that’ll link to your phone, so you can see inside the fridge while you’re out.
Your Smart fridge freezer will connect to your phone in a similar way as any other device. You may need to download an app - like Samsung Smart Home or LG SmartThinQ® - for your specific model. After this, you’ll need to add your device to the fridge freezer, using the touchscreen display. This process will be slightly different for each model, so check your instruction manual for details. Top tip: you’ll need your Wi-Fi username and password to hand.
