    A good looking hob

    Love my new gas hob. Was renting for a year and had a 35 year old very dated electric hob so very pleased to be back on gas. This is a lovely hob, looks smart especially as I have had a stainless steel splashback put up behind it. I only have 2 niggles, one is the largest of the 5 rings on the left of the hob, in my humble opinion, should have been in the centre of that panel. It is a little close to the other 4 so a large wok takes up a lot of the space. But only my opinion .. Second is it takes a few hits on the ignitor to get the flame going. You have to check the flame has ignited as it is not instant with one push on the knob. Other than that I love it.

    AEG Gas hob is excellent consider i did not get the Bosh hob as its very expensive. I don't regret it. It as good as the Bosh.

      Get your new hob fitted the same day it’s delivered. Our Gas Safe registered engineers will disconnect your old appliance before getting your new one set up. We'll give your new appliance a full health check and supply an official gas safety certificate. There are a few things worth checking first - find out more on our helpful gas hob installation page.

      If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

      If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

      The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

      Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.
