Get that weekend curry going with this Bosch Serie 4 gas hob. The four burners step up from a gentle simmer to a high-heat ring for a fast boil, so a dhal can tick over at the back while the rice comes up at the front. The dials sit along the front edge, within easy reach, and there's no hunting for matches.

The tempered glass top handles heavy pans and wipes down in seconds, while the semi-continuous cast iron supports are small enough to drop into the sink without a fight. Handy, that. Frameless, it measures 590mm wide and 520mm deep.
