Smeg Cucina SR264XGH2 60cm Gas Hob - Stainless Steel

    AO Finance

    Product Overview

Master all your favourite recipes – old and new – with this stylish gas hob from Smeg. It has 4 burners, offering plenty of room for all your pots and pans. This includes a powerful wok burner, which gives the intense heat you need to perfect delicious Oriental dishes. With the automatic ignition, the flame will ignite with the simple twist of the knob controls. And, if it’s accidently extinguished, its flame failure safety feature cuts off the gas supply, making it really safe to use. You can cook with extra confidence too, thanks to the cast iron pan supports, which keep your pans stable – even if you’re using a heavy wok or casserole dish.

    Tips for measuring up

When measuring for a gas hob, the depth and height are usually standard, so you should focus on measuring the width – it’ll be between 60 and 90cm. Also, you need to make sure no cupboards will hang over the hob, and that there’s at least 75cm between the hob and your cooker hood. Learn more with our guide.

    Smeg hob

Looks amazing and works really well

    SPOT ON! in all respects

Really pleased with the Cucina Hob. It was delivered on time - as announced by AO. The delivery lads were spot-on and installed and commissioned the new hob after removing the old one. The layout of gas rings, I think, makes more sense than the conventional four-square layout, in that only one ring is up against the wall and three rings are "out in the open" in diamond formation. For me, that's a masterstroke! The hob way outperforms the old one and I feel like I've leapt into the 21st century! Who would have thought a gas hob would have made so much impact on me? Thanks to all concerned. Kind regards, Roy.

    Diamond configuration & vertical knobs

Diamond configuration of rings allows for larger pots if using multiple rings. Useful not to have a large ring to rear, near wall. Control knobs located vertically at front well away from where you put pots or lids

    Smeg Cucina Gas Hob

Great hob, easy to fit and connect (I am Gas Safe before anyone starts ranting). The set up of the hob burners takes a bit of getting used to, but makes sense after a short time. Only minor complaint is the control knobs feel a little bit cheap compared to the rest of the appliance.

    High quality hob.

Really pleased with this hob, I was delighted to be able to get a hob this size with a wok burner. It’s a really good quality hob, the burners are fast and efficient and the flame fail device is a reassuring safety feature.

To start with, we were absolutely thrilled to bits. It’s really powerful, the layout and design are great. However, after only a few weeks’ use the largest hob has discoloured to a gold colour and the others have gone matte….has anyone else had the same issue?! We’ve been so careful what we clean it with so no obvious reason for it at all.

    • Connection £110.00

Get your new hob fitted the same day it’s delivered. Our Gas Safe registered engineers will disconnect your old appliance before getting your new one set up. We'll give your new appliance a full health check and supply an official gas safety certificate. There are a few things worth checking first - find out more on our helpful gas hob installation page.

    • Remove & Recycle £20.00

If you’ve bought a new appliance but you don’t want us to connect it for you, all you’ll need to do is disconnect your old one, empty it and place it by the entrance of your property, ready for us to pick up. Or, if you’ve ordered our connection service with a new appliance, we’ll disconnect your old one for you.

If you haven’t bought a new appliance, we can still collect your old one and take it away for recycling. However, as we won’t be able to come into your home to disconnect it, you’ll need to make sure it’s by the entrance to your property, ready for us to pick up. Our experts will recycle it safely and responsibly in our state-of-the-art facility.

The cost of our Remove & Recycle service goes towards safely transporting the product to our recycling plant. Under the WEEE regulations, recycling costs are primarily covered by the product manufacturer.

Also, while we’re picking up your appliance, if you’ve got any smaller kitchen electricals that need recycling – such as kettles, toasters or blenders – we’ll happily take those away too at no extra charge. Just pass them to your driver when we’re picking up your larger appliance.

    • Unpack £4.00

Appliances come with quite a bit of bulky packaging. We’ll unpack your item, let you inspect it then take away all of the plastic wrap and foam packaging.
