    What is a Ring Doorbell?

A Ring Doorbell is one of the market’s leading smart doorbells that connects your mobile phone to your front door. Utilising one allows you to see, hear and speak to visitors at your door through a phone, tablet or even an Amazon Alexa device. These clever appliances also allow you to record motion during any fleeting visit, which helps to provide you that little extra security and convenience.

It’s also important to be aware that Ring has a cloud recording ‘Ring Protect Plan’ subscription that will store your recordings for 30 or 180 days depending on which plan you pay for. Your doorbell will run off the Wi-Fi, so make sure you’ve got a decent connection!

To get the most from this smart doorbell you’ll need to download the Ring app and create an account to view and use it with your mobile phone. Similarly, your Ring Doorbell easily integrates with Alexa and Amazon devices – which means you could even ask your Amazon telly to show the live feed.
