    How Brits are really feeling about the festive season

    Our survey of 2,000 Brits revealed how the nation feels about Christmas this year, from what they love, to what’s causing the biggest festive headaches.

    Christmas is filled with fairy lights, food and family traditions – but our latest research shows it also comes with a lot of pressure behind the scenes.

    One in 10 Brits say hosting Christmas Day fills them with stress, with a further 21% admitting they’re relieved they won’t be hosting this year. From cooking and cleaning to budgeting and expectations, it seems Christmas can bring on a lot of nerves.

    More than half of Brits (53%) say that spending time with family is what they enjoy most about Christmas. However, over a third admit they feel judged about how they celebrate Christmas, with relatives named as the harshest critics. Whether it’s how much you’ve spent, what you’re cooking, or how tidy the house looks, it seems many people feel under quiet scrutiny.
